Just One Wish Janette Rallison Books
This book gets 4 stars because the ending was so much better than I expected. It started off slow and not something pulled me in. I wanted to finish it since I started it. It’s a funny book though. It made me laugh and smile. It was entertaining. The last 4 chapters, however... GOT REALLY GOOD!!!!! The last 4 chapters really picked up and I got excited to read it! The ending stumped me but now that I think about it, it was a perfect ending. Very light amongst the heavy but also happy and leaves you with a hopeful feeling. Overall decent book, not my favorite, but the ending will always stick with me.

Just One Wish Janette Rallison Books Reviews
Such a wonderful story about facing challenges that you can't change but have to find a way to overcome. BEWARE POSSIBLE SPOILERS. I've read this book many times and still enjoy it. The lessons about things being true even if they aren't real, that it's okay to be sad about difficult things but you shouldn't give up just because you can't change something. Life continues and every moment has a purpose. So many other wonderful things about this.
I really liked Annika and her determination to give her brother his secret wish. This story was really heartwarming, funny, inspiring and also sad. Loved it!
This is one of my all time favorite books! It may be because I lived in Henderson, Nevada for five years of my life or it may be because I love the crazy things that Annika does for her little brother! I'm pretty sure this is the first book I ever read by Janette Rallison and I just fell in love with it! I own it in hardback and (with the new extra scene!), and I recommend it to lots of people!
I especially liked the top of the trailers scene. All the cunning to get to Steve/Robin Hood! The ending was totally unusual. There was a happily ever after then there was sad ending.
This book was a little different from some of Janette Rallison's other books because there was a bittersweet element to it. There's still the romantic, fun side of the book, but because it also deals with her little brother's sickness, this book reaches an even higher level of emotion and goes deeper than some of her others.
*****Also, just a warning Hachette charges 7% sales tax on this book (55 cents). I saw where it says "price set by the publisher" but I REALLY wish that would also say something about how that means that sales tax is added on, even with e-books. Because when you "buy with one click", you don't really see the tax until you check your bank statement. Just a minor grievance - not for the book, but in case you didn't know, like I didn't.*****
My first experience with crying and laughing came when I watched the movie "Steel Magnolias“, and I remember being shocked at the experience. I started crying in the first two pages of this book because of how vividly the love of a sister for her little brother is portrayed. Kids should never have cancer! The book kept me laughing and crying throughout. That may not make it a high recommendation for you, but the book sparkles with life, and that is my favorite part of good books.
Another hit by Rallison. I figured out I have now read 22 of 26 books. I have enjoyed them all. I love these teen books. They are quite funny and very enjoyable. But the do have a sad part to them. What good book doesn’t lead you through a mix of emotions. Annika and Steve’s story is fun. I wish there was a epilogue to that story. It felt complete but it would have been nice to see how long of a time Steve and Anika stayed together. They had a lot to face. Long distance relationships are difficult in an situation but add fame and stardom to it and it would be near impossible.
